About This Spot

Stepping into Chuck's Steak House in Myrtle Beach is like settling into a familiar, well-loved gathering spot where good food and genuine hospitality come naturally. The moment you walk through the door on North Kings Highway, the pace feels unhurried but lively, with low conversations flowing over the gentle clinking of glasses and laughter. The warm lighting softens the rustic decor, creating a space that balances classic steakhouse charm with a welcoming, neighborhood vibe.

The restaurant’s heartbeat is in the simple joy of sharing a meal—whether it’s unwinding at the bar with a thoughtfully mixed cocktail or gathering around the table for a hearty feast. There’s a comforting ease here, where you can savor a perfectly cooked steak that seems to melt with every bite, accompanied by an ever-popular salad bar that invites you to personalize your plate just the way you like it. The atmosphere encourages lingering over dessert, swapping stories, and raising a glass with friends old and new.

What makes Chuck's feel less like a spot on the map and more like a place people return to year after year is its attentive service and obvious care for the little moments—a server who remembers your favorite drink, a lively crowd sharing in post-work happy hour, or a quiet corner where couples celebrate milestones. It’s a place where time slows down enough to appreciate the textures of a meal, the balance of flavors, and the kindness found in a well-timed smile or a knowing nod.

In Myrtle Beach, where the restaurant scene buzzes with options, Chuck's Steak House stands as a comforting, reliably welcoming stop—perfect for those evenings when you want more than just a great steak, but a sense of connection and familiarity too.

This was our first time eating at Chuck's. We ordered the filet mignon! It was absolutely delicious! It was cooked perfect and it cut like butter & melted in your mouth. The decor was awesome! We really enjoyed the salad bar. It's always nice when you can put as much or as little of something on your salad. Our waitress was Rachel. She was awesome, she wasn't overbearing, but was always on top of refills or questions we had! Give the girl a raise! The manager was awesome as well and he had a good personality that we enjoyed! We HIGHLY recommend Chuck's and will definitely be eating here again on our next trip to Myrtle Beach! 10 Stars!!!

Our first visit and it was great. We met a couple of locals and they said folks will be lining up at 4PM. We were the second couple there and here they came. Once we entered we went to the bar area and enjoyed some free appetizers including nachos, block cheese and crackers, popcorn, and trail mix. We were seated at 5 and our server was great. We ordered a filet and it was cooked to perfection and the salad bar was well stocked. Our friends ordered the prime rib rare and they said it was delicious. The restaurant looks like a hunting lodge inside with a library in one corner and all sorts of mounted wildlife on the walls. Can't wait to go back when we visit MB in October!!

Update: We visited Chuck’s twice this week. The first time I ordered their delicious ALL YOU CAN EAT salad bar. My husband ordered the Senior 8 ounce sirloin cooked rare with a baked potato. The steak was perfectly cooked. Service was good and ambiance was great as always. On our second visit, we we celebrating our anniversary. We helped ourselves to the salad bar, and as soon as we returned to the table, our dinner was out. They did apologize for bringing the food so early and offered us a dessert on the house. (Seems that they had a BUS LOAD of people and they put our order in front of theirs.) I ordered the Senior 8 ounce sirloin cooked rare. My husband ordered the Senior 1/3 of ribs. The BBQ sauce was very good but the ribs had a burnt taste…. I would not order ribs again. Our dessert was strawberry shortcake, and very good. Service was excellent during our meal. When presented with the check, it was over double what it should have been. Obviously, the wrong check but was corrected when it was brought to our waiter’s attention. I always try to visit Chuck’s when I’m nearby.

We ate at Chuck's for our 49th Anniversary on September 11th. We had Alexis as our server. She has been our server for the past 5+ years. My husband had Fliet Mignon, salad and baked potato. I had the best never ending salad from the salad bar with rolls and sliced cheese. I sampled my husband's steak; it was so tender and delicious. Our Thanks to Chuck's for the best Anniversary Dinner ever. Alexis we will see you on our next trip down from Maryland. We took a boat ride on the Barefoot Princess and got pictures by the waterway earlier in the day.

This was my birthday dinner, and the food was phenomenal. I had the 12oz ribeye and scallops, the flavor was off the charts and cut like butter, my husband had the 16oz prime rib and loved it. We both had the very fresh salad and cheese bar To top the night off, we happen to get the same server, Ty! we also had him last Mothers day Ty both times took such good care of us, did great on food recommendations, was fun to be around, and just made our night a delight Thank you for the perfect birthday, in an amazing setting, with delicious food, and service that made us feel special.

My prime rib was a little cold. I did order a 24oz and rare, but just feel it was just not warm. I fully understand they can’t keep it hot, as it would over cook, but it was just barely warm at best. Service was spot on. Restaurant was neat and clean.
